A Quick and Easy DIY Game Idea: Popsicle Stick Photo Puzzle

Photography by Amanda, Impress Your Kids

If there’s one activity from our childhood that we continue to love today—well, it’s napping. But if there are two activities we still love, we’d have to choose napping and working on a good puzzle. The great thing about puzzles is that they grow with you—from the early days of “put the duck in the space that has a picture of a duck,” to building a 500-piece replica of the Eiffel Tower. Another thing we love about puzzles? They don’t have to cost a lot of money. In fact, you can make one yourself with just a few inexpensive materials.

We stumbled upon this great DIY photo puzzle idea over at Impress Your Kids, where it was shared by creative mama Amanda (you may also know her as ohAmanda). We love that it’s so easy to put together and is a great way to challenge kids while also keeping them entertained.

What you’ll need:
• Popsicle sticks (wide ones, or tongue depressors)
• White glue
• Tape
• An exacto knife
• Cute family photos

You’ll find the full directions for this DIY photo puzzle over at Impress Your Kids. For an even bigger challenge, make multiple photo puzzles and mix all the pieces to see how long it takes your little ones to put them back together again.
