For the most talked about wedding since The Duchess of Cambridge’s, Kristen Stewart—as Bella Swan—wore a 100-buttoned Carolina Herrera original that was a long time in the making. “I worked on that dress for like six months going back and forth,” Herrera told E! News. “I still have all the sketches and everything because it was so special.”
It was special for about a minute, because copycat dresses have already started popping up. Wedding retailer Alfred Angelo already has a replica that can be yours right now! It will be available in sizes 0 to 30W, on sale for $799.
I really have to wonder, though. Would you really want to wear an exact copy of a fictional character’s dress? Did you even love it that much? For me, personally, I wasn’t overly impressed with this dress, especially considering it took six months to make. Bella had a dream wedding the night before her actual wedding, and she wore a completely different dress—an absolutely stunning dress. I wonder if they’ll make copies of that one…
What did you think of Bella’s dress?
