1. On the day: Dress in clothing and scarf (for a DIY scarf, cut long strips from a large men’s shirt and attach end-to-end with hot glue, or paint black stripes on a length of grey fabric). Attach the latex nose.
Margo Costume

1. On the day: Layer T-shirt over white button-down shirt; top with blazer and skirt. Part hair down middle and pull into a ponytail at the nape. Finish with red runners and glasses.
Minion Costume

1. Cut pipe cleaners into 1-inch pieces; hot-glue an end of each piece to top of yellow (or dyed yellow) hat.
2. Trace and cut out minion goggles shape from construction paper and coat with silver craft paint; affix to front of hat with hot glue.
3. Print image of Gru’s emblem; cut it out and affix to the front pocket of overalls with double-sided tape.
4. On the day: Dress child in yellow onesie and denim overalls. Add shoes, gloves (optional) and hat.
