Iron-on transfers are simple yet impressive. You can easily whip up a bunch over a weekend, swapping the cushion for T-shirts, tote bags and aprons.

What you’ll need:
• A pillow
• Cushion cover
• Iron-on transfer paper
• Iron


  1. Scan art.
  2. Crop and size to your pillow’s measurements. Note: You can make your own pillow or purchase a white or light-coloured cushion cover.
  3. Print on iron-on transfer paper.
  4. Following the instructions included with the paper, iron the drawing onto a cushion cover.
  5. Stuff and close cushion.


TIP: Make sure your pillow fabric is compatible with the transfer sheets before ironing.
