Get your ghost-busting gear in order and prepare to exterminate your paper bag piñata with this fun and easy craft. A few simple items from around the house and a couple bags of your favourite candy are all you need to make this Halloween project a success.

We spotted this Ghost-Busting Piñata idea over on the Hershey Canada website. It’s a fun do-it-yourself project that’s great for getting kids up off the couch at any Halloween gathering. Assemble your piñata and get ready to start cracking (literally).

What you’ll need:

  • Small candies of your choice (mini chocolate bars, hard candies, etc.)
  • 2 to 3 rolls of white crepe paper
  • White paper bag
  • Construction paper
  • Cardboard
  • Craft twine
  • Packing tape
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Broom

When selecting the perfect location to hang your piñata, be sure to place it away from furniture or breakables, as this craft requires lots of free space. Check out the Hershey Canada website for full details on assembling your very own piñata.
