Quick and Easy Craft Idea: Sun Catchers

Summer may not officially start until June, but after a long weekend, we have hot weather on our minds. And what could be a better way to prepare for the return of the summer season than with a colourful sun catcher? Whether you’re trapped inside on a rainy day or just looking for a quick afternoon activity to keep wee ones entertained, this simple sun catcher craft from Morning Sun Rae will brighten your spirits as well as your home.

What you’ll need:
• Construction paper
• Wax paper
• Crayon shavings
• Glue
• Scissors
• An iron
