Wear Your Jerseys Tomorrow In Support of Sports Day

Now your little sports fan has a good excuse for wearing her karate uniform to school. It’s even okay to wear a hockey jersey at grandma’s birthday dinner at a fancy restaurant. And a certain colleague of ours can wear one of his various sports jerseys to work, even if it’s not laundry day! Tomorrow is National Jersey Day, an initiative aiming to get Canadians excited about local sports. Tomorrow, everyone has carte blanche to wear their favourite uniform or jersey anywhere they like and show their love of sports on their sleeves.

Sports Day in Canada is Saturday, September 18th, and there will be celebrations across the country. Check here for stuff happening in your area. And tune into CBC for all-day special Sports Day coverage.
