Diaper Donation Night in Canada

Heading out to an NHL game in the next few days? Huggies and the NHL hope you will bring along an unopened pack of diapers for a good cause.
The two have partnered to spread awareness of diaper need in Canada. Currently, 1 in 5 Canadian mothers are unable to afford diapers for their babies. These mothers are forced to choose between clean diapers for their babies and things like food, electricity and housing bills.

Diaper drives will be held during these designated games in the following cities:
Ottawa: February 18
Calgary: February 20
Toronto: February 22
Edmonton: February 25
Montreal: TBD
All collected diapers will be distributed to babies in need in each community by local food and diaper banks.

Fans can also text the name of their favorite NHL team (e.g. for the Edmonton Oilers, text “Edmonton,” or “Oilers”) to 20222 in Canada to donate $5 and help diaper babies in their community. You can also donate online at NHL.com/huggies.
