Post Shreddies is proud of Canadians for being genuinely good people. To express their pride, Shreddies is on a mission once again to recognize and celebrate individuals for their selfless commitment to their community.
“Search for Goodness” is a national search for someone who embodies the same genuine goodness found in every bowl of Shreddies cereal. That goodness that makes us feel so good. Because when we feel good, we do good.
Greg Epp, the inaugural recipient, was selected because of the contribution he makes to his community. Every morning, Greg wakes up before dawn to clear away snow and flood the local outdoor rink, just like his father did for years before him. His selfless commitment ensures his friends and neighbours can enjoy the rink all winter.
Last year’s winners, Julia and Emma Mogus, were chosen because they make it their mission to collect and distribute books for remote “fly-in” communities in Northern Ontario. The teen sisters, who have a love for reading, have collected over 27,000 books for their charity Books with No Bounds.
Tell the story of someone who, like Greg and the Mogus sisters, represents genuine goodness in their community.
