The first day of summer has brought with it some scorching temperatures here in Toronto—outside our window we’re almost positive that the trees are starting to melt. To keep cool, we’ll be whipping up a batch of these awesome Watermelon Ice Pops, which we spotted over on Kelly Hunt‘s blog, Eat Yourself Skinny.

These frosty treats are sure to be a big hit with heat-weary kids and grown-ups alike. And at 78 calories per pop, who could resist?

What you’ll need:
• Seedless watermelon
• Sugar
• Chocolate chips
• Lime sherbert
• Popsicle sticks
• Small paper drinking cups
