Pick of the Week: Listography List Journal (A Great Gift for Teens)

I LOVE lists. Lists of all shapes, sizes and content. Lists on the back of take-out fliers, envelopes, post-its; notebooks designated solely for the creation of lists. I make lists for everything: chores, schoolwork, books to read, websites to visit, foods to try, places to go, etc. So when my editor handed me this pick of the week, everything else in my world fell away as I leafed through all the lists I had never thought to make.

My Future Listography: All I Hope To Do in Lists is a book of equal parts simplicity, inspiration and insight. Each page reveals a new possible future, a new adventure. A title for your list is provided, along with one suggestion to get the ball rolling and plenty of space for you to add to it. Everything you never thought of doing is in this book from Events to Time Travel To, Past or Future (I’d like to travel to when we transition completely to sustainable energy), to Fictional Characters You’d Like to Hang Out With (Captain Jack Sparrow) to What Your Perfect Home Would Entail (floor to ceiling windows, everywhere).

This book is perfect for your teenager who is still feeling their way through this thing we call life. Let creator Lisa Nola and quirky illustrator Nathaniel Russell spark the flames of your kid’s imagination.

My Future Listography: All I Hope To Do In Lists is $17. You can also find other books in the Listography series (including Love Listography, Listography Journal, My Listography and Music Listography) online and at your local Indigo or Chapters.
