Christmas Craft for Kids: Construction Paper Wreath

This holiday craft is super easy to make and is a nice take on the traditional evergreen wreath

Photography by Rachel Ashmore,

The holiday season often brings an array of creative DIY wreaths, but we especially love this construction paper wreath for kids by Rachel of Our Small-Town Idaho Life.

This simple project is a nice take on the traditional evergreen wreath and is very easy to make—perfect for younger kids. Feel free to use different colours for your wreath aside from the usual green to make it a little more quirky. The finished product reminds us of a slinky toy, which is why we’re sure your kids will have a lot of fun with this one.

What you’ll need:

  • Green construction paper
  • Any coloured scrap paper
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Glue

You can find the complete step-by-step instructions for this construction paper wreath over at Our Small-Town Idaho Life.
