Trim the Tree with This Cute DIY Christmas List Ornament

Photography by Heidi Ferguson, Honeybear Lane

With store windows already decked out for the holidays and TV commercials announcing the return of “festive specials,” we can’t help but admit that we’ve got Christmas on our minds. And nothing says “Christmas is coming!” like the moment you break out the tree and prepare to decorate. This year, you’ll want to leave room for this oh-so-cute ornament idea from Heidi Ferguson, the crafty mama behind the site Honeybear Lane.

This ornament is a fun way to display your child’s wish list, and will be such a sweet keepsake to look back on in years to come. It’s easy to make with just a few basic materials, and is a great project to tackle with little crafters.

What you’ll need:
• Wooden spools
• Red craft paint
• Sponge or paint brush
• Glue or ModPodge
• Ribbon
• Elastic bands
• Pencil and black marker

You’ll find the complete instructions for this Christmas List Ornament over at Honeybear Lane. For more DIY decor ideas, check out these 9 Easy Holiday Decorations.
