-
Igloos and Ice Houses

Snow forts are a huge hit in the winter and if you haven’t built one yet, writer David Beaulieu has some tips for building the perfect igloo.

Traditionally, igloos are made out of ice but due to a lack of thick ice blocks in milder climates, snow will have to do!

What you’ll need:

• Containers of various shapes and sizes (Think milk cartons, juice jugs and large Tupperware or Rubbermaid bins)
• Pam or cooking spray
• Snow

Creating the ice blocks can be a bit tricky so be sure to check out David’s tips on keeping the blocks solid. For full instructions check out the tutorial on About.
