Announcing Tommee Tippee: Now in Canada!

The Tommee Tippee nipple design begs the question: why don't more companies make their bottles more breast-like?

Tommee Tippee, the number-one brand of baby feeding gear in Great Britain has finally launched in Canada, after recent success in the U.S. (Our bilingual packaging requirements tend to slow down new North American releases.)

Tommee Tippee has two lines: Closer to Nature for little ones and Explora for toddlers and preschoolers. Both collections are BPA-free and phthalate-compliant*, but the baby line will probably entice moms the most.

Each product in the Closer to Nature collection has a smart twist: a bib has a thick, almost stand-up collar ring to better absorb milk or drool; a formula dispenser sits right in the bottle but separate from the water; and all the bottles have squashy breast-like-ish tops with 360-degree wiggly nipples.

Aside from being a seemingly brilliant design, the bottle is also sleekly stylish and squat enough so you can bottle feed easily in the nursing position. Theoretically, it prevents nipple confusion, colic, etc.

And if you’re trying to get your babe to take a sippy, you may appreciate the first-stage sippy with the same bosom-y top. It’s a bit like the adorable Mimijumi, which a breast-and-bottle feeding CF family tester recently reviewed and really liked.

We’ll be family testing Tommee Tippee in the coming weeks and we’ll let you know which products our families love the most.

Find the products at Toys R Us, starting from $6.
