Becoming a new parent is a life changing event. Whether you are single or in a relationship when the baby arrives, your life is turned upside down and it takes a lot of getting used to. Your sleep and eating routines will change hugely and you will need to adjust as the baby is the main priority. This new life now depends on you so you want to give it all you can give.
Many parents are lucky in the amount of support that they get. Some get this from extended family like their own siblings or parents. Others need to work on it alone or maybe with some guidance from friends. For a new parent, it can be really daunting especially if you are not experienced in the whole area of children. The important thing to remember is that everyone must start somewhere so not to put too much pressure on yourself but to not be afraid to reach out and ask for help. Also remember you can Google most things (with caution!) and there are many useful forums online with really useful advice.
Luckily there is help available from other sources. This infographic from Shop Twinkie is a useful guide on some of the better apps for your cell phone and tablet that might assist you in your parenting. They are split into different sections explaining what they do, their availability, their price (if applicable) and a useful rating so you know if they’re worth getting or not. Check it out below.
