Almond Butter Green Beans

This side dish boasts all the flavours of green bean almondine with very little effort.

Makes 6 servings
Prep Time
Prep to table time: 10 minutes
  • 1 1/2 lb trimmed green beans
  • 1-2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp garlic butter
  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Boil beans for 4 minutes or until bright green. Drain water and return beans to pot.

  2. Toss beans with garlic and almond butters until coated. Season with salt and pepper and serve.

85 calories, 4 g fat, 55 mg calcium, 31 mg sodium, 9 g carbohydrates, 4 g fibre, 3 g protein. High source of fibre; source of vita­­min C, calcium and iron.
