"Very easy to prepare, and I liked it overall, but the kids wouldn't eat the basil!"

Cut off watermelon skins and cut flesh into large chunks. Put in a lidded container and freeze for 2 hours.
Skewer watermelon, alternating basil leaves in between chunks of watermelon.
