Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). In a small, sturdy plastic bag, combine croutons, Parmesan cheese and basil. Seal bag; put on a folded tea towel. Pound with a rolling pin or meat mallet until croutons are crushed but some coarse crumbs remain.
Arrange chops in a single layer on a lightly oiled rimmed baking sheet. Spread dressing evenly over top side of each chop; sprinkle each evenly with crouton mixture. Bake for about 15 minutes, until topping is golden brown and chops are cooked through but still very slightly pink inside.
