Cheese Muffins

These classic muffins are a delicious after-school treat.

All you need is Cheese!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 Cups whole-wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoons salt
  • 1 Cup grated marbled cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 Cups milk
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 11/4 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (180 °C). Grease muffin tins. Combine first five ingredients in a big bowl and mix well. Stir in grated cheese. In another big bowl, beat in eggs and whisk in seven last ingredients. Pour over dry ingredients. Stir until just moistened. Spoon into prepared muffin tins. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve warm.
