Preheat oven to 350-deg. F.
In a food processor, pulse first 6 ingredients until well blended. Add butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add cheddar and pulse until combined. Pour milk through feed tube while pulsing just until mixture comes together.
Divide mixture equally (about 1/3 cup each) into a standard muffin pan and bake until golden, about 20 to 22 minutes.
Per biscuit: 218 calories, 12 g fat, 122 mg calcium, 457 mg sodium, 22 g carbs, 1 g fibre, 5 g protein; good source of folate.
