Honey Ricotta Fondue with Fruit Dippers

This fun fondue only takes minutes to prepare and is a welcome addition to any fruit platter. It's also a tasty anytime snack that adds loads of calcium to the vitamin-filled fruit dippers

"This recipe was very simple and straightforward — perfect for a single working mom! I really liked the flavour of the cinnamon and cider. It went really well with the apples, grapes and even the pineapple. After a few dips, Jonah stopped dipping, and when I asked him why he said, “Mom, big boys don't dip their pineapple.' "

Ingredients
  • 1 lb smooth ricotta cheese (one container)
  • 1 cupapple cider
  • 1 tbsp honey, or more to taste
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
Directions
  1. In a medium-sized pot, warm cider over medium heat. Whisk in ricotta, honey and cinnamon.

  2. Stir until cheese has melted and is warmed through and very smooth.

  3. Serve immediately with cut-up assorted skewered fruit.

Nutrients Per Serving

Per serving (fondue only): 164 calories, 10 g fat, 166 mg calcium, 64 mg sodium, 10 g carbohydrates, 0 g fibre, 9 g protein. Good source of calcium.
