Mama’s Homemade Pancakes

Just like mom used to make!

  • 1 Cup flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 Cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon walnuts (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • toppings
  • 1fresh strawberries and whipped cream (my personal favorite)
  • blueberries and confectioners sugar
  • peanut butter and granulated sugar
  • butter and maple syrup
  • jams, jellies or fresh fruit of any kind
  1. In a bowl with a pitcher spout, combine flour, salt and baking powder. Add sugar, milk and eggs. Stir until smooth. Add oil, and nuts if desired.

  2. Heat griddle until water dropped on sizzles. Pour batter on hot grill in shape and size desired. Wait until bubbles appear and pop, then flip ONCE to cook opposite side. Cook until golden brown.

  3. Serve with your choice of toppings.
