Maple Pecan Pie Pops Filling

Each filling recipe will make 1 full batch of 12 pie pops. Choose the filling you want or make both, adjusting filling quantities accordingly.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp corn syrup
  • 2 tsp cornstarch

  • pinch kosher salt

  • 1 cup pecan pieces, lightly toasted, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Directions:
  • 1. In a small saucepan set over medium-low heat, combine the first five ingredients and whisk until smooth. Raise heat to medium-high and cook until the mixture comes up to a lively bubble, whisking constantly until mixture thickens. Remove from heat; add pecan pieces and vanilla and stir. Transfer to a bowl and chill until needed.
