Sparkling Cranberry Tea

Thirst quenching and refreshing, this basic recipe will work with any herbal tea.

"It's sort of strong but I think it has a lot of zip, too. I'd like to make it again." Alison O'Connor, 9, Whitby, Ont.

"This would taste great as a patio drink on a hot day, tart, cool and refreshing. It looked very fancy, and it was a lovely ruby red." Heather O'Connor, mom of five, Whitby, Ont.

25 minutes
  • 8 cranberry-flavoured herbal tea bags
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1-1/2 cups sparkling water
  • 1 lemon, cut into thin slices
  1. Steep tea in boiling water for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and stir in honey. Chill.

  2. To serve, add ice to serving glass, fill with tea and sparkling water. Garnish with lemon slices.
