Cream butter and sugar until light.
Add wet ingredients, then dry ingredients.
Chill dough (wrapped in wax paper or other wrap) in refrigerator overnight (or a few days) and roll very thin.
Bake on ungreased sheets at 350-deg. F.
Mix together the milk or light cream, icing sugar and vanilla to a good icing consistency.
Put icing in sandwich bags, snip a small corner hole and decorate.
