Sweet Spice Rub

This sweet and savory rub can be used on many different kinds of meat

Prep Time
10 minutes
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup coarse kosher salt
  • 3 tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely ground white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons mustard seeds
  • 2 tablespoons cracked coriander seeds
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons pink peppercorns, cracked
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon dill seed
  1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Transfer to a tightly sealed container and store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months

  2. Makes approximately 2-1/2 cups. Try it on Planked Beef Tenderloin or Peanut Butter and Jelly...Fish (Salmon).
