Carefully mix the meat, steak sauce, egg yolks, soup mix, salt and pepper with the tines of a large salad fork, but do not mash it. Lightly form each hamburger patty and lightly press into a circular shape about 1 inch thick and 4 inches in diameter.
With the tines of the fork, indent the edges of the patty to create an irregular form. This will keep the patties from looking like the cookie cutter frozen variety.
Cut ¼ inch deep on the centre surface of the patty with a sharp knife and insert a thin slice of butter inside each one, making sure the butter is entirely encased in the mixture.
Cook the hamburger patties on a wire rack that sits in pan to catch the grease drippings.
Place them in centre of oven at 400°F for 15 minutes, flipping them over for 5 minutes. Then broil for 2 minutes per side to give them the char broiled look.
Remove from oven. Let cool 5 minutes and serve on fresh sesame buns.
Add cheese slices, fresh onions, and other condiments to taste.
