Recipe excerpted from Little Monsters by Zac Williams
Tear the cake into pieces about 1 inch in size. Place the cake pieces in the bottom of a glass trifle bowl or other large clear serving bowl.
Following the package directions, prepare the gelatin. Pour into the trifle bowl over the cake pieces. Sprinkle the marshmallows over the top.
Following the package directions, prepare the pudding. Pour the pudding over the gelatin and cake in the serving bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until the gelatin is set.
Using the gummy creatures and the cookie crumbs, decorate the top of the trifle. Spread the Oreo crumbs for dirt and make it look really spooky with worms and creepy candy coming out of the ground!
