Canadian Boys Clothes That Rock!

For anyone who has been blessed with a boy, you’ll know the challenge it can be to find stylish clothes. So, whenever we find brands that try to help fashion-conscious mommies out with a little more pizazz in an otherwise graphic-print-tee-and-carpenter-jeans-kind-of-world we feel compelled to give them a shout out. One of the newest players on our kiddie fashion roster is Michelle Ward from Collingwood, Ontario (did we forget to mention she’s also  Canadian? Double score!) with her rocker-chic brand Addaboy.

We were first introduced to Addaboy last month by the lovely Grace at TykeThreads (speaking of awesome boys clothes, Grace’s store is an online fashion oasis for moms’ of a stylish lads) and immediately her edgy-yet-endearing style had us hooked. She specializes in silk screen tops (burnout tees and button downs), which are done in house so no two shirts are the same, and  she also has some pretty bad ass custom distressed jeans, logo tees and signature shirts. (Check out our birthday page in the April issue to see one of our favourites!)

Addaboy is currently hosting a North American search to find spokesboys for the brand. Boys age 6 months to 8 years can enter by visiting the website, and sending in a completed application and photo. Winners will receive $350 worth of Addaboy clothing in exchange for a a little word of mouth (you know for when your boy gets all of those compliments in his new duds).  In addition to the winning brand ambassadors, one Toronto kid will get to participate in a professional photo shoot decked out in all-new Addaboy apparel.
