Is the secret to bake sale success to just add more chocolate?

My daughter’s daycare is having their fun fair fundraiser tomorrow. I signed up a month ago to contribute to the bake sale, thinking “sure I’ll have time to whip something up.” So now here it is, the day before, and I’ve caved—I bought slice-and-bake cookie dough. That said, I do plan to spruce them up with sprinkles, more chocolate chips and chocolate frosting. I was wondering if any of you had suggestions for the next time I am faced with baking something that people actually have to buy. What is your no-fail, go-to bake sale recipe?

Of course, only an hour after I purchased all my cookie needs before coming into the office (I’d die without my nearby 24-hour grocery store) and started writing this post, our managing and online editor Megan announced she had found a great (and easy) recipe on Bakerella last night that I could have made.
