Pick of the Week: Soft Clothing for Kids with Sensory Sensitivities

The Ipswitch Tee from Soft Clothing

So it’s settled: function and fashion can co-exist!

Soft Clothing is a New York-based clothing company, and their specialty is great clothes for kids with sensory sensitivities, including those with Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD, and tactile defensiveness/sensitivity. This means no tags, wide collars, flat seams, encased elastic waistbands, vegetable-based dyes and super-soft bio-washed cotton.

Even if your kids don’t have sensory sensitivities, you’ll love Soft for the looks. The designs are fun, adorable and stylish and even include limited editions by Brooklyn-based artists.

Our only complaint? That they don’t come in adult sizes.

The Spring designs are available now, and you can buy Soft Clothing at Sensory Store Canada. Tees start at $18 each and are available in sizes for kids aged 3 to 12.
