French Toast With Nutella, Berries and Banana
Can’t decide between the eggy goodness of French toast and the chocolaty richness of Nutella? Now you can have it all! While it may look like dessert, this breakfast combines potassium, protein, fibre, Vitamin A, D and E with a taste your kids will love.
Before you begin, cut up one or two bananas and clean a large handful or berries. Any combination of fruit will taste delicious. Then, preheat your skillet on medium or medium-high heat. In a medium sized bowl beat 3 eggs, one teaspoon of vanilla and half a cup of milk until well blended. Dip four pieces of whole-grain bread into the egg mixture until well coated, but not drenched. Cook in the skillet until each side of the bread is golden brown. While the toast is still warm, spread the Nutella. You can slice the toast and make Nutella sandwiches or you can serve open face. Finally, sprinkle on your fruit and add icing sugar if you wish.
