Veggie Tales: Saint Nicholas: A Story of Joyful Giving! (Big Idea, $20) The young vegetables learn what’s really important at Christmastime when Bob the Tomato shares a story about the world’s greatest giver in the latest VeggieTales release. The DVD features an original song by renowned contemporary Christian musicians Matthew West and Amy Grant, and includes bonus features like music videos and behind the scenes footage of “Give This Christmas Away” by West and Grant.

Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas (Universal, $23) This winter George is back, with his good friend the Man With The Yellow Hat, and they are excitedly awaiting Santa Claus. But George is having a hard time figuring out what to buy The Man, after all what do you get for someone who has everything—including a monkey! Preschoolers will adore sharing in their loving relationship, as well as the understanding and kind outcomes to even the most bizarre calamities.

Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws (Walt Disney Home Entertainment, $25) Five talking golden retrievers known as Buddha, B-Dawg, Mudbud, Budderball and Rosebud set out to save Christmas when they discover that the magic in the North Pole is melting because people don’t believe like they used to. As the latest installment in the Santa Buddies series, this flick is bound to entertain kids while getting them into the holiday spirit.

Four Christmases (New Line Home Videos, $22) Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn star in this romantic comedy about a couple that is forced to spend quality time with their families when a storm cancels their trip to Fiji. In this over-the-top feel-good movie, the couple struggle to survive four separate Christmases amongst both sets of their divorced parents, their own relationship gets put to the test.

The Christmas Classics Gift Set: The Original Christmas Classics (Classic Media, $36) The Christmas Classics Gift Set is a great way to share the holiday favourites you enjoyed as a child. Your family and friends can watch as Frosty comes to life with the help of a top hat and how Rudolph came to guide Santa’s sleigh one foggy night. The limited edition DVD also includes five other digitally re-mastered classics like Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town and Mr. Magoo’s Christmas and comes with a bonus holiday music CD.
