With baby gear recalls becoming a growing concern, Toys R Us in association with Health Canada and Safe Kids Canada is offering a two-week gear trade-in. In this time parents will be able to to exchange their old gear (including cribs, car seats, strollers and travel systems) for 20 percent off a new item in the same category.
The nation-wide campaign was developed to coax parents to get rid of potentially dangerous gear that has been recalled, damaged or is simply an older model. If you are interested in trading in some of you’re baby gear, you can visit any Toys R Us or Babies R Us location until June 11. Some restrictions on the discount do apply, ask a store manager for more information.
